Cabbage, Sims2 Addiction, and the Night Owl

Well, the corned beef and cabbage turned out OK in the crockpot, but just OK, so I won't even bother with the recipe. Next time around, I'll make it the traditional way (which is an even simpler recipe that goes like this: read package, cook in water for however long per pound, add potatoes later, add cabbage even later than that, serve and enjoy when potatoes and cabbage are done).

This weekend was yet another exercise in Sims2 addiction. If you are a fan, I don't need to tell you how addicting it is and how every new expansion pack (3rd expansion hit shelves a few weeks back) is a new re-addiction all over again. I can't even count the number of hours I've spent playing this weekend. The latest expansion, Open for Business, has to be the best one yet.

And now it's way past bedtime (again). I get caught up on sleep on the weekend only to start the next week exhausted because I never get to bed early on Sunday nights (being so well rested and well-Simmed and all...), and then I live the whole week for a restful weekend, only to start the vicious cycle all over again.
