New Job

Yikes, change is scary sometimes, but it can also be a good thing. I gave my two week notice this past week and will be starting a new job in a couple of weeks. Knowing that inquiring minds want to know (the rumor mill and conspiracy theories crack me up - all wrong so far, too - who knew people gave that much thought about me) and that it's possible that some of those minds may read my blog, I can't say much else other than that I do think it is a really great opportunity and that I really will miss some of the people I'm leaving behind a lot.

Other than that, not much going on. I went yesterday to have a massage, which has to be my favorite thing in the entire world to do, and it was especially nice because of all this job change stress. I had some kind of yucky tummy thing going on and a very slight tempurature (I'm guessing also stress related), so I wound up sleeping a lot. I didn't even drink more than about a 1/2 cup of coffee yesterday, so Tom definitely knew that I was not right. This morning I woke up feeling better, and the coffee actually smells good again, so I think I'm cured. Saltines and Coke (or 7-Up) are still totally the way to go for nausea. Nothing else ever works quite like that. I also read a super easy recipe for something almost like egg drop soup when you are still not wanting to eat anything too heavy, and it goes like this:

Make chicken bullion in a pan on stove, once bullion is disolved and water boiling, stir to create a whirlpool effect, pour in an egg that you have beaten and stop stirring, once egg cooks, it is done.

Not a ton of flavor, but a great little something to eat when your tummy is not sure about anything too heavy.

Back to my coffee and games I go!
