New Year's Menu

Sometimes I get hungry. Really hungry. Then I create menus like this one (click link to see!) that I will be working on making tonight and tomorrow (or at least some of it, depending on how things go). Oh, yum. Ciao (chow) 2007! Maybe the calories won't make the leap into the new year somehow magically.

(All this after leftovers from last night:
Dirty Shrimp in Butter-Beer Sauce - was every bit as good as it sounds, maybe better, One-Pan Chicken Parmigiana - was awesome, and will fit with our "healthier choices" in Oh-Eight and Super Hummus Salad - didn't really go, but I wanted to try it, and it was good and will go perfectly on that pita for lunch today)

But you can't exactly eat leftovers when celebrating, now can you? Hence my New Year's Menu.

  1. Mmm, I've made the Almost White Castle's. They're really good. (Since you can't get Sliders in Central Illinois.)

Be safe for the end of 2007 - I hope 2008 brings you more happiness, health, and good fortune (along with staying Quit).

  5. I swear Maggie, I think I gain 5 pounds each time you post about food and those recipes! Sliders are a decadent fav of mine. We have them here in Kentucky. Have to have a Big Red Soda with 2 or 3 cheeseburgers. Now, I'm gonna have to dress and get to the grocery. Thank goodness I rode my bike already today. ;)

  6. How do you label your blogs? Cooking, cigreatte cravings etc. I noticed you and Tanisa both do it but I have no clue how. Help?

  7. Lynda, these were pretty close, I thought. Of course, there is *no* substitute for real sliders.

Mz Diva, the shrimp was really yummy - hope you try it! To tag, just look at the bottom of the form when you post to your blog, and you will see it!

Hahaha, MamaFlo, you are always welcome ;) I've never tried Raspberry Chipotle, but now that I've heard of it, I feel like something has been missing in my life...

Happy New Year, Tabatha! Sorry to make you hungry ;)

Chris, it was all really good. Happy New Year to you, too!

Ah, Sherri, I'm jealous of anyone with sliders nearby. I had them in utero, so I can't help it.
