Haiku Friday 1/18/08

Haiku Friday

俳句の金曜日

Today is smoke-free
day two-fifteen (215), and I am
gratefully breathing.

Here's another day,
each a breath of gratitude,
I'm free from those chains.

I have to say that
Chantix really helped a lot
but now it's all me.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Anticipation.
Destination: Our Future?
So very hopeful.

I want to say more
but I fear which eyes read my
secrets in public.

Nope, I'm not pregnant
(but that was a good try guess!)
...still hoping someday.

We are headed out
I could just pee my pants but
I hate wet travel...

明日の夢を

  2. I so wish that I could get some of my friends and family to do what you have done, and quit smoking. I haven't smoked in over 2 years! I used to be a social smoker, but no more..

Love your haiku, and glad you've joined in the fun.

    See you for Weekly Winners!
