Lost Hour, Preview, Linky Loo Add

Today is smoke-free day 267, and I'm surviving after losing that hour completely against my will to daylight savings (that I don't understand - I mean, why we can't just leave well enough alone? It's a rhetorical question, so don't answer because I'm too sleepy to understand all the crazy fangled reasoning. No that's probably not proper use of the word fangled, either, by my estimation. Give me a nap, and I'll come up with something better. Till then, misused fangled is my word of the day. I need more coffee and one less tangent.).

As is pretty much annual tradition since about, oh, 1995, this is going to be a bumpy week for me, kids. Just warnin' ya's. More on that later in the week when I introduce you to my mom.

It's been awhile since I've added anyone to my list of Chantix / Quitting Smoking Linky Loos post (which does still need to be better updated someday), but here's a new one just getting started.

Current, Regularly Updated Blogs I Read Daily:

  • Jude's blog - Jude is taking the Chantix route quitting smoking, has been doing some blog reading about it, and she has a quit date of March 14, 2008 (if not sooner).

  4. Ah, I've read about your mom on your other page. *hug*

I'll have coffee with you and listen to you gripe ANY time (even, virtually if need be).

DST is yucky. Except in the fall when I like it. Because I'm non-sensical like that.

  7. Hi Maggie!

I never did like the time change myself. Never made much sense to me but that's just me. :)

    Happy quitting!

  8. I completely agree about DST -- I was about to fall over yesterday, I was so tired. That one hour caused me to lose about 3 hours of sleep. I feel better today, but it sucks!

  9. I saw your other page, too. Hugs from Peoria this week!

DST can bite me. I ended up taking a 3 hour nap yesterday and couldn't fall alseep last night until 2am and had to be up by 6:15am. I'm fighting to stay awake today in hopes of good sleep tonight. Ahh.
