Butter Chickpea Curry
(I loved this, but it's more similar in taste to Japanese style curry than Butter Chicken - still scrumptious!)

Green Means Go

I Can See for Miles

Thirsty?

Box of Light

JPop Star Wannabe

If you are simply dying to know, I was singing this song, Nagai Aida by Kiroro - just not as well and missing a few words here and there:

  1. Maggie, I love all of these. All are amazing but I love the box of light and the bottles all lined up. You have such talent...in the singing department as well, it seems.

  6. Love the second and third pictures... awesome!
You're much braver than me! I can't carry a tune in a bucket... I love to sing, but I do so in the privacy of my own home, where only the kids will rip on me (and they do!)!

  15. "but it's more similar in taste to Japanese style curry than butter chicken" - you say that like it's a bad thing! Hmmm, I MUST try it! I love Japanese curry!

I don't want to even ask why you you were close enough to the tracks to take the green means go photo! Please tell me the light is always green, not that some train was about to go wizzing past?

And if the above didn't show your bravery, singing karaoke certainly does! Girl, you are ten times braver than I ever was. Geez, I miss the sound drifting into my open bedroom window at 3 am, of those old men singing (if you could call it that) away in the little 3 bar stool bar next to my apartment in Japan. Not! :-)

  16. Ugh....I operate trains so the pictures of the tracks on my day off were upsetting ;)

    Kidding..

    Those are great shots!

  19. I love these shots, Maggie. And those lyrics to that song are so bittersweet. I can see why you like it :)

  20. Hi Maggie, I'm late as usual. I love the Japanese wine all lined up. And the picture looking down the railroad track. That song is beautiful, you should post a recording of you signing it.

My sister Tinaliegh spent a summer in Japan, and loved it. We had a young man from Japan live with us while she was over there. Yoshi Hiro was his name. Got to love that student exchange program.
