The Next Chapter Begins

Tom has arrived (yay!), and we are leaving Portland, OR in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, December 6th heading to Tulsa, OK, expecting to arrive Tuesday, December 9th. You can track our journey below thanks to the modern technology of GPS on his iPhone and my addiction to Twitter which can be done via cell phone. Since winter travel in a sports car that hates snow scares me, I feel safer knowing that y'all are watching and could alert authorities if something bad happened, but also we are both kind of nerds who think this is exceedingly awesome and way cool (dood).

    8. omg, I can even see when you exit the freeway and stop to fill up! :) sooooo totally cool! lmao @ the security dude with the lollipop!! you're in Mt. Shasta area according to your tracking thingie, and I was there in 2005, driving up the I-5, I saw the Shasta dam there and the area, it was incredible. Too bad you are not doing this in summer when you (who knows) could tour some things along the way.

(And might I say, as someone who has traveled that route MANY times before... it's a nice drive! I hope you enjoy the scenery! Although I have a feeling you won't be paying much attention!)

I'm so happy for you, that everything is falling into place.

    16. How awesome!!! I so have to learn how to use all this technology stuff correctly!!! Thanks to me our internet connection has been down again because I like to pretend to know what I am doing when it comes to computers but apparently and according to my husband I am not allowed to ever try to "fix" any type of connection in our house again!!! YAY! For you that you are making your journey and how the heck do you get all of these cool things on your web from the said toys that you list... sheesh my brain hurts even trying to think I could ever figure something like that out!!! Good luck on the rest of your journey!!!!
